Write a ReviewPoor Repair Experience
My friend visited the Westwood Cross iConnect store to have a phone screen repaired. A few days later, it became clear that the replacement screen had not been fitted correctly and was not sitting flush. When he requested a refund, the store refused and instead asked him to pay an additional £10 for another repair, even though the original repair came with a warranty. He did not want the phone repaired there again because of the poor first repair, and we were unhappy with the refusal to provide a refund.
Problems With Repairs and Refunds
I strongly advise against using this shop. I believe phones can be damaged during repairs, and some products I purchased also broke. When I raised the issue, the shop would not provide me with a refund.
Repair Left Phone in Worse Condition
I had my iPhone 15 Pro Max screen repaired at the Cwmbran store, but the phone was returned to me in worse condition. Face ID stopped working, the touchscreen performed poorly, and lines appeared across the display. When I returned to request a repair or refund, the store refused and offered only a discounted repair. I intended to contact Trading Standards and solicitors. In my update, the phone was inspected but still was not repaired or refunded. It later developed a charging issue that indicated water damage. I remain highly dissatisfied with the entire experience.
Issue With Payment and No Clear Support
I tried to use a game at a local convenience store and entered several PIN numbers, but each one was rejected. I then paid $10 for 1,000 spins, but the money was still taken despite the PIN issue. I could not find a legitimate phone number to contact for assistance either. I felt the experience was a scam and would not recommend it. I would also warn others against putting money into the game.
Difficult Refund Process
I had a very frustrating experience after purchasing an Apple Pencil that was discovered to be missing from its sealed box. I contacted the company and returned to the store several times, but I was repeatedly unable to get assistance. Eventually, I threatened to take the matter to small claims court before the parent company refunded my purchase several months later. There was no apology, and I believe the issue could have been resolved much more easily by contacting Apple. Overall, I found the management and customer service very disappointing and would advise others to shop elsewhere.
Unhelpful and Rude Store Service
My experience at the Henry Street store was very poor. When I asked a staff member for assistance, they responded rudely and walked away while saying they were on a break. I also noticed that prices displayed online were considerably lower than those in the physical store. Overall, I found the staff unhelpful and unpleasant and would advise customers to avoid the shop unless they have no alternative.
Unhappy With Apple Watch Exchange
I wanted to exchange an Apple Watch because my husband had purchased the wrong size. However, the store refused the exchange because the seal had already been opened. As a result, I had to purchase another watch and ended up with two Apple Watches. I was very unhappy with this policy and would not shop with the company again.
